Clearswift Specialist Products - solutions
for military, defence and intelligence security
Clearswift provides a range of security solutions, accredited to EAL4
standard, for highly sensitive military, defence and intelligence
organisations. Products such as Bastion™, DeepSecure™, DeepSecure
Lite™ and FlashPoint™ address the security needs of the world's most
mission-critical messaging applications for clients such as the UK
Ministry of Defence and NATO, providing network separation and boundary
protection. In situations where networks carry sensitive information,
organizations are faced with a wide range of threats and need to communicate
in security-hardened environments. An electronic air gap with automated
content inspection provides higher security than a conventional air
gap with all the human factors involved, and allows messaging to be
performed in real time. Further it is important that all critical
mail should be content checked, archived and screened automatically
for release against sensitivity, policy and originator, validated
by digital signature.
- Clearswift Directory Bastion
- Allows X.500 Directory data to be synchronised between two X.500
Directory System Agents (DSAs) on two otherwise disjoint networks,
whilst maintaining an assured separation between the two networks
it interconnects.
- Clearswift SNMP Bastion
- A generic framework that provides an application level firewall
between sensitive networks.
- CS Bastion II
- Allows the controlled and accountable flow of messaging traffic
between networks of differing security levels or policies, in environments
that would otherwise preclude the direct connection of such networks.
- Deep Secure
- An EAL4 evaluated email gateway that has been purposely built for
Australian Defence. Deep Secure provides a PKI and Directory enabled
secure Gateway environment together with sophisticated content search
including virus checking, dirty word search and security policy against
information within the connected directory servers (one per direction
eg High to Low, Low to High) Insert in CS Bastion II - allows the
controlled and accountable flow of messaging, directory and network
management traffic between networks of differing security levels or
policies, in environments that would otherwise preclude the direct
connection of such networks. CS Bastion II is an EAL4 evaluated trusted
guard which comes in seven versions: X.400 to X.400, SMTP to SMTP,
SMTP to X.400, X.400 to SMTP, SNMP to SNMP, X.525 to X.525 and finally
X.400 (ACP123) to P7
- Clearswift Universal Information Server
- Webmail Access An additional feature of the NET-TEL Universal Information
Server (UIS) that can provide a complete Intranet e-mail system as
well as offering the ideal e-mail solution for the travelling user.
Clearswift Universal Information Server/Route 440 A fully functional
X.400 compliant MTA (Message Transfer Agent) and MS (Message Store).
- DeepSecure Lite™
- Clearswift DeepSecure Lite™ is a Unevaluated Policy Enforcement
and Content Checking Server for X.400 and SMTP messaging. It provides
a rich selection of message security functionality and content policy
options. DeepSecure Lite is based on the same policy server code as
proven in the EAL4 evaluated DeepSecure solution and is designed for
use in lower threat environments where the assured network separation
of an Application-Level Firewall is not required or where a DMZ architecture
is provided by other means. It is available on Solaris 10g with Trusted
Extensions, on NSA Linux and on Windows 2003.

FlashPoint is a STANAG 4406 Edition 2 compliant Military Messaging
system, providing a Messaging Client, Message Transfer Agent and Message
Store.
